Kar: not just that, but it's killing the economy too. We all pay for high diesel in some form or another.

Soaring diesel prices take toll on Iowa businesses and it's Not good for any business with higher business expenses. Fred's lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper economy, the jobs are Not here. Fred's economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population and the job numbers continue to be down – no matter how smoooooth talking Fred spins those numbers! People will still drive and buy fuel no matter what but it sure helps to have a job too! The US ‘oil and natural gas resources’ belong to the citizens of this country and are to be used by those same citizens! Speculators, manipulators and the banks continue to unfairly and unjustly make the driving public pay higher prices at the pump for their personal greedy benefit. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII!

Locally diesel has spiked from 3.87 to 4.15. Lowest price is at 3.99.
No good reason for the spike.
That is not new. The casino (market) does what it wants without reason.

Do not think for a New York second the high price of diesel is influencing the price of gasoline. It is also increased costs for groceries as well.

Another reason why just drilling for more oil is not the answer. Note that refineries are having trouble keeping up with the demand. So it is the scarcity caused by lack of refinery capacity that seems to be the issue.

This might help with farmers doing more sustainable farming without the cheap energy source that was available in the past.

Sounds like NoBama is telling the oil companies to drop gas prices so they raise diesel prices to keep their profit margins high...

This will cause the price of everything to go up. Diesel trucks that deliver products will have to pass the cost on.

"(We consume) probably about a half-million gallons a month,"Henricksen said. We need our truckers but we can't control the high price of diesel.

Fuel is just killing tha amercan people. I owuld like to see alot of people conserve. I walked to my granddaughters school today, and I find a line of at least 20 cars waiting to pick up their kids from school, and all of them keep their engines running, both gas and deisel. Just think of all the fuel wasted on the national basis that is wasted. Then I have a neighbor who runs his deisel to warm up his truck sometimes for 30 minutes to a hour. I can go on and on, but these people need to be trained to conserve at times. This is just plain wasting.

Unemployment did drop from 8.1% to 7.8%, but thats only cause California did Not get there unemployment in in time so unemployment could get under the 8% were No president ever got re-elected when over 8%. Only 23 Million people out of work! An thats just Legal American citizens. Not counting illegals.

We all need to be worried. Everything in this country is shipped using diesel from rail to semi's. Semi's get around 8 mpg if the load is light. The cost is passed on to the consumer for everything.

According to Obama at his last debate, low fuel prices are a sign of a weak economy. We should apparently enjoy rising fuel prices and the increased shipping & food prices that go along with it.
