At least if you have the Republican reason for high gas prices, there's a very good chance that the higher profits will be paid out as stock dividends. Obummer is basically not into stocks, he has a S&P 500 index fund (FWIW, about 6% of an S&P index fund is Apple and ExxonMobil as of the last rebalance) and that's about it. Romney made a comment about Obama owning Chinese stocks but then I really don't think he does unless it's indirectly through a pension fund.

A BIG CONGRATS on 1,200 consecutive days! Really awesome! Wow, another milestone has arrived! : ) For most GBs (8M plus) they don't seem to have the dedication or the persistence it takes to come back and post gas prices each day for other GBs! Or they just run out of gas! :( Hang onto your speed lines, it only takes one day to lose them! I'm sure you know! But, even clicking on news articles links, which are the easiest points here on GasBuddy, when you can't or didn't post gas prices before midnight will save your consecutive days! : ) WARNING! Every day GBs lose their consecutive days, many with big numbers, the #1 reason, "oops, I just forgot!" :( If you ever lose your consecutive days; that is NO FAULT of your own, please contact the mods! Get educated on ethanol before running your lips.Without out it your food price would be higher and gas would be around $5.oo a gallon.
