"Who wants a vehicle that only goes 40 miles!" I don't mean to offend but are you aware that the Chevrolet Volt also has a gasoline engine that seamlessly starts when the vehicle's batteries discharge to the maximum designed extent? The Volt is even programmed to occasionally start the gas engine to prevent the stored gasoline in the tank from getting too stale. 'Obama closed the Republican Chrysler Dealers'?? Dude, you've been drinking the Kool-Aid! Chrysler, GM & Ford have been trying to close dealerships for years. Doenges Brothers in Tulsa was a classic example. Please do some research before you just spout the party line...
