Unfortunately I don't think we elected many watchdogs. Most simply seem to have returned to ordinary politicians not worth most of what we pay them, even though they are allowed to vote for their own raises.

Would you like to be buddies?

She did not get a ticket for driving 2 under the limit, she got a ticket for refusing to move right and let others pass. In most states, it is the law to keep right except to pass. She was impeding traffic, and therefore a safety hazard.

There is some losses, every time you convert energy to another source. (First law of Thermal Dynamics). I do not know exactly how many KWhs of power it takes going into a battery, and then the next day, get 1 KWh of power out. (the units are the same, but it's more than 1:1) Although it's not too bad. The costs I read about earlier, take that into effect.

It also depends on the type of batteries used. Lith-ion, vs Lead acid, etc. Also as batteries age, they loose some efficiency too. But as an internal Combustion Engine ages, it also looses some efficiency too.

I have seen costs for using Electricity vs Gas. However, I do not have the link. But basically if you have a car which gets 30 MPG on gas, and gas is $3.00/gallon. The EV car would run the same number of miles for less than $1.00/gallon equivelant. And that's based on 10 cents/kwh electricity. I hope that helps

It was my mistake.

"Why not just a $10 electric compressor to the system to keep the tire inflated?"

... they tried that first ... but it threw the wheel balance off, --and the dogone cord kept getting tangled as the wheel turned ...
